Fact 1-Rosa Parks was born on Feb 4, 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama.
Fact 2-She was of African, Cherokee-Creek, and Scots-Irish ancestry.
 Fact 3-McCauley attended rural schools until the age of eleven.
Fact 4- Rosa Parks became a national icon of civil rights and African-American pride.
 Fact 5-Rosa Parks married Raymond Parks, a barber, in 1932, and they remained married until his death in 1977
 Fact 6-When she refused to give up her seat to a white man, the bus driver called police, and Rosa Parks was arrested and fined.
 Fact 7-She married Raymond Parker, a barber in 1932.
Fact 8-Parks did not refuse to leave her seat because her feet were tired.
 Fact 9-In the 1940s, Parks and her husband were members of the Voters’ League
