This
is a very funny train station; the Thai vegetable market vendors pull
back their temporary stalls and remove their produce off the railway
track to allow a cross-country train to pass through the middle of the
town of Maeklong, 60 kilometres west of Bangkok, Thailand. The bustling
market, in the middle of the town, has to scramble from the tracks four
times a day as trains pass, a scene repeated in other rural centres and
some city slums across Thailand every day.
