Amaznig - Amazing insect-Prickly spiny devil

A prickly Spiny Devil Katydid stares at the camera. British photographer Chris Mattison spotted the bizarre creature while leading a wildlife tour in Ecuador. He said:"It has a very striking look. I get a real kick when I come across something I've never seen before so this was extraordinary. It's such a bizarre insect youcan't help but be amazed by its appearance. It almost looks like an alien."
