The Oldest Fish in The World



The oldest fish alive is named the coelacanth is a prehistoric fish and old 400 million years . He lost much of his family at the same time as the dinosaurs . He was caught for the first time in South Africa in 1938 , after several years of research, and in 1985 , a German film has managed this species in a cave in the Comoros , with a submarine .

Laurent Ballesta was the last to review this fish to 120 meters under the sea, and described the animal as a "living fossil."
