UK government to require registration of all religious leaders

In September 1620, pilgrims from England set sail for the "new world," hoping to find new opportunities and escape religious persecution. Today, hundreds of years later, its possible British subjects might once again be forced to flee religious oppression.

Canada's National Post reports that religious figures throughout Britain – imams, priests, rabbis and others – are being forced to enroll in a "national register of faith leaders" and be required to undergo government-specified training and security checks under the guise of combating "extremism."

A leaked draft of the program has become a highly controversial addition to the British government's new counter-extremism strategy, and it apparently goes much further than previous versions, the Post reported, citing details from The Sunday Telegraph.

The strategy, which is due to be formally published this fall, says the British Home Office will "require all faiths to maintain a national register of faith leaders" and that the government plans to "set out the minimum level of training and checks" that all faith leaders must obtain.

The Post further noted:

Registration will be compulsory for all faith leaders who wish to work with the public sector, including universities, the document says. In practice, most faith leaders have some dealings with the public sector and the requirement will cover the great majority. The move marks a significant deepening of the state's involvement in religion and is likely to be resisted by many religious representatives.

Permission to preach

An imam and founding member of the Mosques and Imams National Advisory Board [MINAB], Maulana Shah Raza, warned London "not to meddle in religious affairs or to expand the state's involvement in deciding on religious and theological issues."

"The Government needs to concentrate on ensuring that safeguards are in place to protect the public and treating all faith communities equally," he added.

MINAB, a self-regulatory entity that promotes best practices, was launched with ministerial support under the most recent Labour government. However, relations with the current administration have chilled following the group's refusal to sever its ties to extremist mosques and imams.

The government's new efforts to track religious leaders comes amid reports that the British government recently killed two citizens who had gone to the Middle East to fight for ISIS in a drone strike.

Government officials have said that Reyaad Khan, 21, from Cardiff – the main target of the drone strike – was radicalized at the Welsh city's al-Manar mosque, a site where several extremist preachers have gathered, including Muhammad Mustafa al-Muqri, an ally of al Qaeda and former leader of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad organization.

The Post also reported:

Another extremist preacher closely linked with a terrorist, Usman Ali, who taught one of the men who killed soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich, was appointed chaplain at the area's local hospital and was also on the management committee of a community center. He was only sacked from his NHS role after an undercover reporter filmed him inviting a guest speaker who praised the Taliban.

U.S. religious freedoms also under assault

Although Americans are not yet required to actually register with government officials and take required training, there are growing signs of religious intolerance in the United States. In Houston, for example, the openly lesbian activist mayor Annise Parker recently drew the ire of religious leaders in the city when she backed city officials' subpoenas of their sermons in a bid to determine if their teachings violated a new equal rights ordinance she led.

"The measure bans anti-gay discrimination among businesses that serve the public, private employers, in housing and in city employment and city contracting," the Washington Post reported. "Under one of the hotly contested parts of the ordinance, transgender people barred access to a restroom would be able to file a discrimination complaint."

Religious leaders in the city were upset that the ordinance exempted religious institutions, but they became convinced that Parker's administration was targeting them.

In addition, business owners in the U.S. who have refused services to gay and lesbian couples on religious principles have been targeted by state governments and activist groups and sued in federal court.

Is there such a thing as 'ethical' vaccines with clean ingredients that protect children's health?

A Seattle-based pharmaceutical group claims to have come up with a new vaccine formula that does away with the aborted human fetal tissue and other toxic contaminants used in the manufacture of traditional vaccines. The Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute (SCPI) is crowd-sourcing funds to eventually unveil a new "ethical" alternative vaccine to the MMRII (measles, mumps, and rubella) that it claims will be much safer for children.

The group hopes to reach six million moms, dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles with the new vaccine formula, which will allegedly protect children from the many side effects associated with Merck & Co.'s MMRII vaccine. These side effects include elevated risk of autism and associated neurological damage, as reported by CDC whistle blower Dr. William Thompson, and possible infection from live virus components added to the vaccine.

Merck's MMRII vaccine is also the subject of a pending lawsuit, which alleges that Merck faked clinical trial data to make the MMR vaccine appear safer and more effective than it actually is. Two former Merck scientists say the pharmaceutical and vaccine giant spiked blood samples to cover for the ineffectiveness of the mumps portion of the vaccine, which isn't "95% effective" as claimed by both the company and the federal government.

"With each vaccine, we are ... injecting our children with residual contaminants from the aborted fetal cell lines used in the manufacturing: fragments of DNA and a retrovirus," warns SCPI. "Autism and other childhood neurodevelopmental diseases such as childhood onset schizophrenia, childhood bipolar disorder and intellectual disability have been associated with hundreds of de novo (new) mutations, most likely caused by the presence of these fragments of fetal DNA and retrovirus in our children's vaccines."

The idea of a 'safe' vaccine might just be an unrealistic pipe dream

Following its initial launch, SCPI is planning to unveil an entire line of vaccines that it claims will be "free of human fetal contaminants, free of adjuvants like mercury or aluminum, and safe for our children and our consciences." It all sounds great, and it's similar to what Moms Against Mercury has been trying to do for years with its crusade against this particularly well-known vaccine neurotoxin, which is still used in the manufacture of batch-administered flu shots for influenza.

But is there really such a thing as a "safe" or "ethical" vaccine? Is it actually possible to inject a child with attenuated live viruses and other substances, bypassing his innate immune system, while eliminating all risk of adverse events? The obvious and common-sense answer to the question would appear to be NO.

Vaccine adjuvants are what makes a vaccine a vaccine. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) explains on its website why nearly all vaccines contain added adjuvants: because weakened and/or modified viruses and bacteria added to vaccines are incapable of provoking a strong enough immune response on their own, so other materials have to be added to achieve the necessary response.

This means that a child either has to: 1) be exposed to the disease directly (which is how people gained lifelong immunity to certain infectious diseases prior to the advent ofvaccines), or 2) he must be injected with a chemical cocktail strong enough to promote an immune response, but weak enough not to trigger a deadly infection.

The implication here is that the only "natural" or "ethical" vaccine is natural exposure to infection without an actual injection. It remains to be seen what SCPI comes up with as a "safe" vaccine, and we're open to hearing what this group has to say. But it's this writer's conviction, anyway, that there simply isn't a 100% safe vaccine that comes with zero risk.

Fukushima disaster has become hopeless - act now to save your family from future radioactive catastrophes

Efforts to clean up the ongoing radioactive mess at Fukushima have failed once again after an experimental robot "died" just three hours into a roving expedition inside Unit 1, one of three reactors at the Japanese nuclear complex that experienced a meltdown following the 2011 disaster. And a top expert now admits that it will likely be many years before any viable solution to the problem is developed, signifying that all hope might now be lost.

The Guardian reports that the robot, which was hoped to be able to sustain the high levels of radiation inside the reactor, which is still inaccessible to humans, failed to successfully retrieve nuclear fuel and capture the intended imagery and radiation levels to help move along the cleanup process. Rather than operate for roughly 10 hours as intended, the robot stopped moving very early on, suggesting that radiation levels inside the unit are still exceptionally high.

Developed by Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy and the International Institute for Nuclear Decommissioning, the robot had been designed to be a "transformer," of sorts, capable of altering its shape to tackle debris and other unknown terrain inside the failed reactor. And while it reached 14 of the 18 intended locations prior to failing, the robot's operators say they aren't exactly sure why it failed.

"[T]he robot was supposed to be able to function for about 10 hours even when exposed to radiation at levels that would cause ordinary electronic devices to malfunction," wrote Justin McCurry for The Guardian. "[O]fficials said... they had yet to establish the cause of the problem."

The technology to effectively mitigate Fukushima radiation does not yet exist, admits nuclear expert

An advisor to the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), which operates the now-shuttered Fukushima complex, told reporters that extremely high radiation levels inside the three failed reactors, including Unit 1 where the transformer robot failed, have made it exceptionally difficult to mitigate the damage. He admitted that the appropriate technology does not yet exist to effectively stop the radioactive releases from Fukushima.

"Radiation levels in these structures is higher, and working inside them is problematic," stated Dale Klein, a former chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, in apparent defeat. "This is a challenge that has never been faced before in the world, and there will have to be new equipment developed to make that happen," he added, noting that those "tools and equipment do not exist today."

What this means, more than four years after the disaster, is that marine life in the Pacific Ocean will continue to die, water supplies will continue to become polluted, food crops will further sustain endless radioactive impact, and the world will consequently suffer with no end in sight. And all this as a result of pro-nuclear energy policies that have long subsidized the development of this deadly technology.

Though Fukushima has already devastated the environment, we can all do our part to help stop the further development of nuclear energy programs by demanding that our government stop subsidizing them with taxpayer dollars. The following petitions are working towards this end:

US national debt is so bad now that the U.S. Treasury has simply stopped reporting it

"Officially," the U.S. national debt has frozen in time, though "unofficially" it continues to grow at a frenetic pace.

What's going on? Did the federal government suddenly become fiscally responsible and we are no longer accumulating country-destroying debt?

If you believe the U.S. Department of the Treasury, yes. As reported recently by CNS News, the national debt froze for more than 21 days.

Oh, wait. Look at the official figure being reported: $18,112,975,000,000. That just happens to be the official debt limit set by Congress. Indeed, $18,112,975,000,000 is about $25 million below the current legal debt limit of $18,113,000,080,959.35.

Hiding the true damage by making up numbers as they go

In a March 13 letter to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew explained that he was planning to declare a "debt issuance suspension period." That was required, he explained, because in 2014 Congress passed legislation that "suspended" the debt limit until March 15, but reinstated it again on that date at whatever level the debt had reached at that time.

"As you know, in February 2014, Congress passed the Temporary Debt Limit Extension Act, suspending the statutory debt limit through March 15, 2015," Lew said in his letter. "Beginning on Monday, March 16, the outstanding debt of the United States will be at the statutory limit. In anticipation of reaching that date, Treasury has suspended until further notice the issue of State and Local Government Series securities, which count against the debt limit."

What are State and Local Government Series securities? According to the Congressional Research Service they are "customized securities available for state and local governments to hold proceeds of bond sales." They are further considered to be part of the federal government debt held by the public.

"Because Congress has not yet acted to raise the debt limit," Lew continued in his letter, "the Treasury Department will have to employ further extraordinary measures to continue to finance the government on a temporary basis. Therefore, beginning on March 16, I plan to declare a 'debt issuance suspension period' with respect to investment of the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and also suspend the daily reinvestment of Treasury securities held by the Government Securities Investment Fund and the Federal Employees' Retirement System Thrift Savings Plan."

Some of these same actions have been taken before, during earlier periods when the debt seemed to freeze in time.

Wait - what about the Ponzi schemes?

In a separate report entitled, "Reaching the Debt Limit: Background and Potential Effects on Government Operations," the CRS further explained:

Under current law, if the Secretary of the Treasury determines that the issuance of obligations of the United States may not be made without exceeding the debt limit, a 'debt issuance suspension period' may be determined. This determination gives the Treasury the authority to suspend investments in the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Trust Fund, Postal Service Retiree Health Benefit Fund, and the Government Securities Investment Fund (G-Fund) of the Federal Thrift Savings Plan.

In addition, this gives Treasury the authority to prematurely redeem securities held by the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Trust Fund and Postal Service Retiree Health Benefit Fund.

In other words, in order to avoid exceeding the congressionally set debt limit, which is codified in statutory law, the Treasury secretary has the authority to simply cook the books and then "declare" that Uncle Sam is no longer accruing any debt.

So, why doesn't the government just "declare" that it no longer even has any debt? Because it does - the federal government owes creditors, many of whom are foreign governments, and cannot simply whitewash them away.

The Treasury also engages in Ponzi schemes. Click here to see how these financial "geniuses" get creative with the numbers, in order to avoid telling Americans just how bad things really are.
